You know you are from Garrett County when…you need a snowmobile to get home.
After 3 days of not being able to get up to the house…even with a skid
loader and a snow blower, I am finally in my house. The people in Garrett
county are THE nicest people around. I stayed with friends and borrowed a
snowmobile until who knows when in order to get home. It has been a long
day but I am soo glad to be home.

Cute Bob…..But I needed a snowmobile to get home one night…many years ago and it was so bad we turned the snowmobile over..rather gently. Luckily we were able to walk the last tenth of a mile to the house. This was during my crazy days and I’m sure there was alcohol involved.
